FG Snare Drums are manufactured using solid wood chops, utilising both stave and segment technology. While mass-produced stock shells, with multiple layers of ply are forced to keep the cylindrical shape, FG’s stave and segmented shells stay in their natural form, shaped by lathe to their final appearance, giving a much more natural resonance.
